Getafe and Coach Bordalás Continue Their Partnership

One more season, Getafe CF and José Bordalás are once again working together on a new project. Although this is very exciting given that the Alicante coach has managed to qualify them for the UEFA Conference League, their second appearance in continental competitions since 2019.

Bordalás aims to take another step forward with the Getafe's aspirations and also improve the squad within the club's financial constraints. The team faces an demanding season with three competitions to compete in, so it is crucial they make a good summer transfer window.

Iván Jaime: A Potential Addition to Getafe

Among several names on the table, one has recently been added: One Football reports that Getafe is keeping an eye on the situation of Iván Jaime. The Porto forward is destined to leave the club and has shown interest in returning to Major League Soccer (MLS), although he could also end up in LaLiga.

Iván Jaime, 25 years old, played twelve matches with Montreal FC in MLS before returning to Porto. At Porto, he does not seem likely to get many opportunities. Just a few months before heading to Canada, the Porto had already loaned him out in January 2025 to Valencia CF. The player's initial steps at Mestalla were promising, but an injury cut his progress short until the end of the season. Iván Jaime participated in ten matches for Valencia CF without scoring a goal or providing any assists.

Media Season with Valencia CF

The midfielder's early steps at Mestalla were promising, but an injury cut his progress short until the end of the season.
