After the final whistle, Soria was blunt about the outcome. "At home we have to take all three points, we can't leave happy. In the final third we need to make better decisions," said Soria. He also noted that European competition has physically worn down a squad that is short on numbers.
A schedule that shows no mercy
The draw leaves Getafe 14th in La Liga, with 4 points from a possible 12 after four games and 8 points behind leaders Barcelona. The club have scored just two goals and conceded five this season, and now face a tough trip on the fixtures page: a visit to Real Betis, fifth in the table, on 17 September.
LaLiga highlights Deportivo's improvement
The injury list is not helping either: Abdel Abqar, Christantus Uche, Juanmi, Kiko Femenia and Francho Serrano remain sidelined, a situation detailed on the club's injuries page.
