Sevilla FC has signed Juan Iglesias, Getafe's right-back, in their first summer move. The player bids farewell to the Getafe fans after six seasons. Iglesias has been one of the pillars of Getafe's successful team under José Bordalás and has played 175 games with the club. He has been the league leader in tackles with 112 and has completed one of his best seasons in a Getafe team that has qualified for the Europa Conference League. Sevilla FC expects Iglesias to become a key player in their team. The player will join Juanlu and Carmona in Sevilla FC, being one of the two possible sales this summer. Cordón's previous work continues to mark the route of Sevilla FC. Iglesias will become the first signing of a Sevilla FC that, for now, does not have a sports director. All thanks to Antonio Cordón, who during the recently ended season, was leaving the tasks done by hunting in the market of players who are free. It seems that Iglesias will continue in the plans of Sevilla despite the departure of Antonio Cordón. He will not have the opportunity to play with his new team in the next season, as Sevilla FC is not clear about their future in the Europa League.
