Getafe face league leaders Barcelona with just 530 tickets left

Getafe CF travel to the Spotify Camp Nou to face unbeaten Barcelona on October 10th, with very few tickets remaining as the Madrid side look to end a poor run of results against the Catalan giants.

Getafe CF face a stern test in the eighth round of La Liga with a trip to leaders FC Barcelona on Saturday, October 10th at 18:30 local time. Just 530 tickets remain available for Azulón supporters wishing to back their team at the Spotify Camp Nou, in a fixture where recent history is not on their side. The Madrid side, sitting 11th in the table with 8 points, are looking for a positive result to distance themselves from the relegation zone.

A historic challenge at the Camp Nou

The historical record is daunting for Getafe on their visits to Barcelona's home. Barça have never lost a league match against Getafe at their stadium, a dominance that extends to the last 39 meetings in all competitions since 2011, with 27 wins for the Catalans, 9 draws and only 3 victories for Getafe. Last season, Barcelona won both league encounters, 3-0 at home and 2-0 at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez. In the last five head-to-head matches, Getafe have managed to take just one point, a 1-1 draw at home in January 2025.

The context for both teams

Barcelona arrive in impeccable form, with seven consecutive league wins and an average of 4.66 goals per home game this campaign. Their manager, Hansi Flick, is preparing the team for a demanding month that includes Champions League fixtures and the Clásico against Real Madrid. For their part, Getafe approach the match with a record of one win, two draws and two defeats in their last five matches across all competitions, according to our verified data. Their last victory was a narrow 1-0 win over Málaga on September 20th, with a goal from Iván Azón in the 85th minute.

Official ticket sales for the visit to the Camp Nou are conducted through FC Barcelona's usual channels and Getafe's official away allocation. Prices start from 50 euros. For the Azulón faithful, this match represents a chance to show character against the league leaders, in a key date marked on the fixtures calendar. The team travels to Catalonia with the mission of adding points to solidify their mid-table position.
